Now that 2011 is here, I have a rather large headache (hey, I am Scottish, some cliches are true). So rather than face the inbox of “play us, we’re great!” I’m going to take an hour to look back over the music and events that made The Rock Show’s 2010 a great year.
And while that’s playing, you can join the inbox with your suggestions, nominations and samplers by sending your mail to ewansence@gmail.com.
There are many traditions at Christmas, some of them global (like presents) and some of them more personal (sssh). And then there are the ones you look forward to doing – and for me one of them is the Christmas Rocktacular.
It’s the same drill as before, always unsigned, unknown or unforgettable artists, but now with a little extra helping of the festive season. And an extra special extended edition of the show.
So settle down with the mulled wine, break open the Stollen, and let loose… “It’s Chrisssstttttmaaaasssssssss!!!”
Never miss a show TPN Rock show again by subscribing to TPN Rock in iTunes (while there, consider leaving a review of the show), or any other RSS Reader. Feel free to leave your comments on this post or drop me an email (ewanspence@gmail.com) if you have any suggestions for the show, or want to appear.
An absolutely fantastic voice, a song that sticks in your memory, all wrapped up in some great music accompanying her. Lisa Redford comes back up to be heard once more.
Just a week to go until Christmas, and while I prefer the hot chestnuts off the fire (and next week’s Christmas Rock-Tac-ular!) some old friends and new flying frets are here for the vital last shopping weekend before the 25th of December.
