The Rock Show #01… I was there when TPN Rock started.
Will you honestly be able to say I was there when “The Rock Show”, or as i like to call it, TPN Rock started? Or will you just sneak back here after listening to the 1000th show to see where it all started? Either way, this is where your journey into the world of Rock will begin.

You titled this: “The Rock Show #01…or, I was there when TPN Rock started…” I like to think of it as “The day the music died!”. No only kidding, have just downloaded it and will listen to it soon (or thought with footy season starting, time is reducing to listen to non-footy stuff).

Listened to bits and pieces of it yesterday but found that my music tastes have changed or the categories have. I always thought rock was stuff like Bryan Adams, etc. This is more what I would have thought (should say not a music guru) was more considered Heavy Metal, etc.
Guess I am just getting old.
Sure that it was a good show if you like this sort of stuff.

Bryan Adams… always a place for a man like that. “Waking Up The Neighbours” is a fantastic drvign album. On current categories, that’d probably be ‘Soft Rock.’ Tastes change I guess, but you might want to try a few more shows to get a feel of which genre space were in. I know I’m stillnot 100% sure – just going by my ear and what sounds good.

Just got into this whole podcasting malarky (spelling) and had a search around for some new things and found this! So I get to download all 18 (at last count) episodes.
Now I’m sitting at work, whiling the hours away to The Rock Show!

Wow, I can’t believe people are actually still listening to us! Thanks for playing Dream Escape.
Unfortunately, we played our last gig back in May 2005 and officially broke up in the middle of August. With the exception of Adam and Marty, everyone else is working hard in new projects. Keep up to date through my website.
Both my bands will be launching very soon.
Thanks again.
Jimi
P.S. We still have loads of CD’s for sale. We’ve dropped the price to £2.50, inc. postage. (Down from £8). Orders are payable in GBP only by cheque or international money order. We don’t recommend sending cash
