add’s hit single ( iimho) was a real treat to the ears. A single is all it takes. Good luck to Add and maybe…and to podcast network! I really enjoyed the show

    Rich,

And that’s one of my aims with TPN Rock: The Rock Show - to give exposure to new bands out there who have brilliant music and who need just one little bit of luck, the right person to hear them, and boom! Away they go.

And while we wait for that to happen, I get to let you all hear the music I listen to day in and day out, you get to hear new music that you might never have discovered. Rediscover Rock, in all it’s genres.

(I take it you’re enjoying the show, even though I’m raising the bar for subsequent shows each time!)

    hey ewan,

just finished listening to rock show 2 at the gym tonight - nice work!!

keep playing the stuff YOU like ‘cos that’s the whole point, as we get to know you and your taste we will either become regulars or look elsewhere.

you mentioned fairly lame response from bands appearing on yr show so far - I think I can help with that…
swing by my blog (http://spaces.msn.com/members/mikese )and have a listen to some of the audio from the bands my kids are in and hang around with - if you like any I have heaps of mp3’s of dialogue with band members audience before and after shows that you are welcome to. I also can guarantee the youngsters will love to say something for your show

p.s. I have access to lots of young bands who cant get much live exposure due to license issues. quality may be a little rough but they could sure use a bit of exposure and help to get started - maybe you could air a ‘ewans rough diamond for the future’ pick once or twice a month…

let me know what you think

I happened to come across your podcast via audio.weblogs.com.

    Man, what a great show!

You made excellent song choices. This show was awesome.

I’m always looking for a new band (new to me) who, at first listen, completely blows me away. And I have to admit, I found one within this show–Year and a Day. What an incredible band!

    Consider me a faithful listener.
