The Rock Show #05 - 30 Minutes Of Musical Magic

TPN Rock is like the gift that keeps giving - listening to the last few shows back to back and there’s a certain familiarity to the shows, yet every show is brining in different musical styles of Rock, from accoustic and emotional, to pop punk and the happy bouncy stuff you want at the end of the night. I hope you’re all enjoying listening to the shows as much as I am enjoying doing all the research, auditioning artists and previewing bands who’ve emailed me asking if they can appear.

  1. great songs on the sho Says:

I like this type of selection of medium and hard rock with a couple alt songs > i admit that as Im typing this Im only up to song four lol, so maybe that will change.

Thanks for the comments - a few shows ago I think Mike Seyfang made the point that I should choose the music I like, and people would either grow to love TPN Rock and become regualrs, or move on. Sounds like you’ve just proved him right - and it does wonders for my confidence that people are actually listening and appreciating all the bands out there.

The two things that excite me about finding new songs are a good verse /chorus, which is rare, and some heart or depth in the music. Ive found a couple songs on the various rock shows youve put up that had thiese two important qualities and gave me that buzz of finding a good new tune.

Thanks — I’ll be listening for sure.
