The BBC and Radio 1 specifically have announced that October 13th will be John Peel day, to celebrate the DJ’s dedication and contribution to music. A number of UK Music Podcasts will be joining in the spirit of the day with a special one-off podcast. Organised by Tane Piper over at Tripcast, the participating podcasts will each choose two unsigned or independent UK acts to showcase. More details as the day approaches.
