What do you mean podcasts should never ever be more than thirty minutes long? Brace yourself, you know what’s coming. It’s the third Accident Mash!!! Yes it’s time for TPN Rock to crash together with Accident Hash as CC Chapman and myself (Ewan Spence) take a wander around the world of pod safe music, the recent PodcastCon 2006 in London (which CC flew over from Boston to attend), and hit on pretty much anything that comes up in conversation.

CC Chapman and Ewan Spence

So if you can cope with a longer than normal show (over an hour and a half), get ready to discover such delights as the Crayonistas, 4 disc DVD special editions, CC and I’s plans for SXSW, a little festive Christmas music (it is the 1st of Deember after all), the Speaking English podcast, Laura on Top of the Pods, and telsa coil based shocking dildos…

…so not exactly worksafe this one. But it’s a blast. Hope you all enjoy it - if nothing else CC and I were on cloud nine for the recording.

You puny humans think you’re so clever. You thik that simply playing our propoganda to a wider audience, whilst singing our praises will endear you to us? You think that a highly entertaining blend of American and British viewpoints and repartee will soften the blow of our Heat Ray (Terrible)?!

Well it won’t. It may save you from a stint in the Mines, and it may make us chuckle slightly, but we still have a geoff and we’re not afraid to inflict him upon you.

Keep making the shows, carry on promoting the vast minority that is “Proper, Real Rock ‘n Roll”, continue to do a good job…..some of you Puny Humans can be remarkably entertaining, and scholarly study of such statistical freaks shall make our Rise all the more amusing and historically impressive.

    Love,

In fact when I re-listened (here) and paid more attention there was a song from them earlier in the show. [...]

    It’s a small world after all….

A couple of years ago I saw a really fun fringe show in the Bedlam called ‘Scotland is a great big evil face’ by The Martians. It included a number of really catchy songs. They were really fun to have in the theatre for the fringe and have,…
