Wow, you’re all really enjoying this! The reactions from last week in my email box and through IM (I have a number of people who IM me when TPN Rock shows go out - ewanspence on Skype if you’re interested) all boil down to two simple ideas. You love the idea of having guest hosts, and you all adored Paul Nicholls’ show last week.
Good. Now it’s time to push the boat out a little bit. I was pretty sure Paul would deliver a show that was in a similar vein to the other TPN Rock shows, but I really want to bring in people with different styles to this slot - while the music is still one of the most important elements, so is entertainment. There are so any people out that can bring a new spin to this slot, and I’m going to do my best to find them.
This week’s guest host is Richard Vobes! From The Vobes Show, he describes himself as a 40-something entertainer, who has been podcasting since early January 2005 with his daily show - which is a madcape mix of chat, sounds, reviews and beer. But strangely, never full on music. Now is Richard’s chance, as the TPN Rock Takeover gets taken over by a man who’s never done music., and hasn’t even auditioned the tracks….

Stunned, Extrovert vobes and a music show, had to hear it and have to admit I liked the way he approched it, very fresh and honest. Thanks for taking that chance Ewan.

Woohoo! Vobes and his master plan to take over the podcasting world has begun! Next thing you know he’ll be flying to the USA and podcasting from there, again!
